These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of vital-alignment.com (the "Site"), operated by Vital Alignment Chiropractic LLC, doing business as Vital Alignment ("Vital Alignment," "we," "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. The Site is general information, not medical advice
Everything on the Site, including text, service descriptions and images, and our videos (on the Site and on our YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other channels), is general educational information only. It is not medical or chiropractic advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan, and it doesn't replace an in-person examination by a qualified health-care provider.
Exercises, stretches or tips shown in our content may not be right for you. Talk to a licensed provider before starting any new exercise, treatment or supplement, especially if you are pregnant, have a recent injury or surgery, or have a medical condition. Stop any activity that causes pain. Individual results vary.
2. No doctor–patient relationship
Using the Site, watching our videos, emailing or calling us, or commenting on or messaging our social-media accounts does not create a chiropractor–patient or doctor–patient relationship. That relationship begins only after you have been evaluated and accepted as a patient at one of our offices.
3. Emergencies
The Site is not for emergencies. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Don't rely on the Site, email or social-media messages for urgent care. Get emergency care right away for symptoms such as:
- sudden severe pain;
- new numbness or weakness;
- loss of bladder or bowel control;
- chest pain or trouble breathing;
- any symptoms after a serious accident.
4. Appointments, insurance and pricing
Online booking is provided by Jane App (Jane Software Inc.) under Jane's own terms and privacy notice. Booking an appointment is a request, not a guarantee of treatment. Service descriptions, availability, office hours, and anything about insurance or auto-accident and personal-injury claims are general information and may change. Coverage depends on your plan and the facts of your case, so please call the office to confirm.
5. Health information
Please don't send health information through the Site, by email, or through social-media messages. See our Website Privacy Policy. Patient health information is handled under our separate Notice of Privacy Practices.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site for anything unlawful;
- try to gain unauthorized access to, disrupt or overload the Site or its host;
- scrape or copy the Site in bulk;
- introduce malware;
- misrepresent who you are when contacting us.
7. Intellectual property
The Site and its content (text, photos, videos, graphics, logos, and the "Vital Alignment" name and marks) are owned by or licensed to Vital Alignment and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view the Site and share links to it for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, republish or commercially use our content or marks without our written permission. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners.
8. Reviews
Patient reviews shown on the Site describe individual experiences. They are not a promise or guarantee of any particular result.
9. Links to other sites
The Site links to third-party sites and services, including Jane, Google Maps, Google reviews, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and LinkedIn. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, policies or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties about the Site, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We try to keep information current, but we don't guarantee that the Site is complete, accurate, error-free or always available.
11. Limitation of liability (website use only)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vital Alignment and its owners, doctors, staff and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, including our videos. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site is limited to $100.
This section applies only to use of the website. It does not limit any rights or remedies you have as a patient for care you receive at our offices, or any liability that cannot be limited under Maryland law.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms, or change, suspend or discontinue the Site, at any time. Updated Terms take effect when posted, and if you keep using the Site after that, you accept them.
14. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver. These Terms and our Website Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about your use of the Site.
